Chopard was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the Swiss company is predominantly known for its watches and jewellery. They were widely known "manufacture d'horlogerie", because they produce most of their watches and movements in-house, as opposed to using base movements of other watch manufacturers. They have since branched out into producing luxury fragrances. Chopard Casmir was launched in 1991, created by perfumer Michel Almairac. This feminine scent captures a blend of fruity mango, coconut, peach and bergamot with a flowing heart of jasmine, geranium and muguet, finishing with a amber, musk, vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli.
